Student Ensembles
The MSU College of Music offers numerous performance opportunities through ensembles, including eight choral groups, seven university bands, 19 jazz ensembles, four orchestras, a new music ensemble, and fully staged opera productions.
Auditions are open to all MSU students—from music majors seeking to improve their skills to non-majors wanting to round out their college experience. More than 2,000 non-majors participate in ensembles and music classes every year.
Non-music majors please note: auditions are generally held the week before classes start in the fall. For more information, click on the area you're interested in from the list on the left, or contact the conductor directly.
