Taylor Johnston Early Music Series

The award-winning Dutch vocal ensemble commemorates the 500th anniversary of the death of the painter Hieronymus Bosch, with music he would have heard on a regular basis in his native city of Hertogenbosch—the ensemble’s home city. The program features music of Bosch’s contemporary, Pierre de la Rue, drawn from the splendid choir books of the Confraternity of Our Illustrious Lady, of which Bosch himself was a member. Additional music performed includes motets by Johannes (Jean) Mouton and anonymous composers from Hertogenbosch, as well as Gregorian chant.

Tickets available from College of Music box office, (517) 353-5340, online, or at the door.
