This concert originally scheduled for 9/7 will take place on Thursday, 9/14 in the Beal Botanical Garden at 6:00 p.m.

Pull up a blanket or chair and enjoy the ambience of music and garden flora during MSU’s free outdoor concert series. The W.J. Beal Botanical Garden plays host to select student groups presented by the MSU College of Music. Concerts happen rain or shine! The MSU Food Truck and Dairy Store ice cream will be on site for the audience to enjoy while you listen to the music.

About the Spectra Quartet: Spectra Quartet is composed of Grace Gelpi, soprano saxophone, Adam Epler, alto saxophone, Zoe Dittman, tenor saxophone, and Will Marchetti, baritone saxophone. All four members are students of Professor Joseph Lulloff at the MSU College of Music. Spectra has performed in master classes led by Nobuya Sugawa, Masahito Sugihara, and the Breaking Winds bassoon quartet. Spectra is excited to take their audience on a tour of the exciting variety of musical possibilities the saxophone quartet has to offer with a program of repertoire spanning over 100 years of music history!
