Gigline

Welcome to MSU Gigline

The MSU College of Music is pleased to offer "Gigline," a service for individuals and organizations seeking performers for weddings, receptions, parties, and other special events, both on- and off-campus. Gigline Artists are College of Music musicians who have been recommended and vetted by their primary faculty member. Classical and jazz soloists and ensembles are available.

Booking An Artist

Classical ensemble bookings are managed by Mary Fukagawa and jazz ensemble bookings are managed by Cookey Whitaker

When you request a soloist or ensemble for your event, please send an email with the following information:

  • Time, Date, Duration
  • Venue location and contact
  • Preferred ensemble/soloist type
  • Any special requests

Once your request is received, we will put you in contact with the performer(s) of your choice directly to discuss and negotiate fees, repertoire, and other details. Please allow 3-5 days for a response to your request.

We recommend requesting Gigline Artists at least three weeks before the performance date, as Gigline Artists are current students at the College of Music and may not be able to accomodate last minute requests.

Please note that Gigline is a referral service provided solely for the convenience of College of Music patrons. The College of Music is not responsible for any agreements made by, or performances provided by, the artists listed. All performers set their own rates. It is assumed that anyone using the following information has read, understands, and accepts all terms of this disclaimer as legally binding.
