MUSIQUE 21
MSU’s new music group, Musique 21 is a contemporary music ensemble that uses flexible instrumentation and is devoted to the performance of works written by composers of the twentieth- and twenty-first centuries.
Musique 21, the contemporary music ensemble at the MSU College of Music, offers students a dynamic platform for exploring and performing cutting-edge musical works. Specializing in contemporary repertoire, this ensemble provides unique opportunities to collaborate with composers, engage in innovative performance practices, and participate in premiering new compositions. Ensemble members gain invaluable experience in modern music, working closely with faculty and guest artists to bring fresh, exciting pieces to life.
