Honoring the milestones
The 2019-2020 “A Season of Celebrations” showcases milestones for some of the college’s most recognizable series and programs. Notable anniversaries include:
- 150th Anniversary Celebration of Bands. Special symphonic, wind symphony and concert band performances will resound across campus in recognition of MSU’s astonishing band legacy, culminating in a season-end performances by a range of band ensembles with “guest and alumni” conductors.
- 40th Anniversary of Jazz Spectacular. Special guests, and well-known performers jazz up the MSU campus with celebratory performances. The popular series features MSU musicians, high school jazz band competitions, live music, and other high-energy activities.
