Performance Opportunities

All studio members have the opportunity to participate in outstanding performing ensembles, incuding the MSU Percussion Ensemble.

• Jazz Ensembles
• Musique 21 (new music ensemble)

The MSU Percussion Ensemble is dedicated primarily to the performance of both new and classic repertoire for chamber percussion group. They have been invited to perform at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention in 2013 and 2017, the Great Lakes Chamber Music Festival, the Blue Griffin Recital Series and other festivals and performance series. The ensemble has performed with several esteemed guest artists including Robert van Sice, Michael Burritt, Gordon Stout, the SO Percussion Group and Francis Kofi, among others.
