Welcome to MSU Gigline

The MSU College of Music is pleased to offer Gigline, a service for individuals and organizations seeking performers for weddings, receptions, parties, and other special events, both on- and off-campus. Gigline Artists are College of Music musicians recommended and vetted by their primary faculty member. Classical and jazz ensembles and soloists are available.
 

Booking a Classical Artist

• Please fill out this form to begin your request
• Once your request is processed, you will receive an email and begin communication with the College and the performer(s) of your choice to discuss fees, repertoire, and other details.

Booking a Jazz Artist

1. Download and fill out this Event Request Form.
2. Email the Event Request for to Cookey Whitaker at whitak48@msu.edu.
3. Once your request is received and processed, you will receive an email and begin communication with the College and the performer(s) of your choice to discuss fees, repertoire, and other details.
    

Please Note:

• It is recommended that Gigline Artists are requested at least three weeks before the performance date. Gigline Artists are current students at the College of Music and may not be able to accomodate last minute requests.
• Please allow 3-5 days for an initial response to your request.
• Please note that Gigline is a referral service provided solely for the convenience of people in the College of Music community. The College of Music is not responsible for any agreements made by, or performances provided by, the artists listed. It is assumed that anyone using the this service has read, understands, and accepts all terms of this disclaimer as legally binding.
• If you have questions about Gigline prior to filling out the Event Request form or are unsure what type of musician or ensemble you need for your event, feel free to send questions to music.gigline@msu.edu and/or whitak48@msu.edu.
