Rush Ticket Program

Students can secure tickets to premium reserved-seat events that have not sold out 48 hours prior to performance time.  

This College of Music program provides opportunities for Music students to attend specially featured concerts at no cost. Called Rush Tickets, these are seats that will be made available free to all College of Music majors for premium reserved seating events. (Venues that exclude reserved seating will be general admission). When ticket availability is determined, students will receive an email from pr@musicmail.msu.edu with the subject line Rush Ticket Offer.

How to secure Rush Tickets

  • Tickets will be available beginning at 10:00 a.m. one weekday prior to the event.
  • Tickets must be picked up in person at the Main Office, 102 MB (Hours: Mon.–Fri, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.)
  • Seats are limited and only available on a first-come-first-served basis
  • Only College of Music students are eligible for this offer
  • Limited to one ticket per-student
  • Rush tickets are only offered for select shows

If you secure a ticket and for some unforeseen reason are not able to use it, please promptly return it to the main office by 4 p.m. on the day of the event.
