Hearing, Vocal, and Musculoskeletal Health
Fall Convocation Reminder - THIS FRIDAY!
The Tuesday Recharge
Announcing the start of The Tuesday Recharge! The music education area and student NAfME chapter are hosting a weekly well-being sessions on Tuesdays from 11:30 - 12:20. Hearing, Vocal, and Musculoskeletal Health
As we begin the new semester, it's a great time to remind everyone of the importance of taking care of ourselves.
Health and safety depend in large part on the personal decisions of informed individuals. Advisories and policies on health and safety, or the institutional actions taken under their influence, do not relieve the individual from personal responsibility for appropriate, prudent, and safe behavior or action.
Links to hearing, vocal, and musculoskeletal health can be found on the College of Music Website Musicians’ Wellness page.
The College of Music provides complementary foam ear plugs for hearing protection for your practice, rehearsal, or performance situations, which are available to students, faculty, and staff. Professional-grade earplugs are available for a fee of $11. Contact Shawn Mahorney in the Dean's office, myrdasha@msu.edu, (517) 355-4583, or visit room 105 of the Music Building to learn more.
