Honoring Tex Arnold

Well-known MSU Music alumnus will be remembered.



The MSU College of Music is saddened by the loss of alumnus Hubert “Tex” Arnold. Arnold, a skilled performer, accompanist and music director, received a Bachelor of Music degree in 1969 and a Master of Music degree in composition from Michigan State University in 1970. Throughout his career, he worked alongside legendary musicians such as Margaret Whiting and Michael Feinstein, and performed from Lincoln Center to the LA Music Center to Carnegie Hall. Arnold will be missed by colleagues, admirers, the MSU Music community and all who shared the joy of working with him.
