The Application Process:

Step 1

Apply to Michigan State University

MSU also accepts the Common and Coalition Applications.

Step 2

Apply to the College of Music

Do not wait to receive a decision from your MSU application. Both applicants are done simultaneously.

Step 3

Select your audition date

On-campus audition options require advance notice for proper review of your application.

Step 4

Follow the timeline for acceptance and notifications

Not everyone’s timeline will be the same. Some applicants will receive the academic admissions decision prior to their audition, others will be after.
