Experience the rich, resonant sounds of strings as only an all-cello ensemble can deliver. Led by MSU cellist Suren Bagratuni alongside ensemble members Cheng-Lin Yu, Weian Gu, Tobias Jiang, Cheng-Hung Chung, and Rulyang Xie, the group performs a wide-ranging program with works by Bach, Fauré, Dvořák, Tchaikovsky, and more. The evening also includes Brahms’s Piano Quartet in G minor, Op. 25, performed by MSU artist-faculty Dmitri Berlinsky (violin), Yvonne Lam (viola), Suren Bagratuni (cello), and guest pianist Dmitri Vorobiev.
Generously sponsored by the Stanley and Selma Hollander Endowment for Chamber Music. The entire Cello Plus Chamber Music Festival Series is underwritten by Ken and Sandy Beall.
