Wind Symphony Concert and World Premiers at Hill Auditorium

Location: Hill Auditorium on the University of Michigan’s central campus, 825 N University Ave, Ann Arbor, MI (Parking is available nearby at the Thayer Street Parking Structure).

Presenting the MSU Wind Symphony in a concert presented in conjunction with the College Band Directors National Association (CBDNA) North Central Division Conference at the Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor. While featured as part of the conference, this performance is free and open to the public.

The program includes works by Paul Hindemith, George Walker, and University of Michigan composer Michael Daugherty, alongside music highlighting MSU composers and performers. Featured are two world premieres: Concerto for Alto Saxophone by Zhou Tian, performed by MSU saxophonist Joseph Lulloff, and Time Flies! by David Biedenbender. The concert also includes Incandescence by MSU graduate conducting student Craig Adams, written as part of The Wind Repertory Database Project. Conducted by Kevin L. Sedatole, David Thornton, and Arris Golden.
