Preview: “Blurred Realities,” Contemporary Compositions

This event is a preview of Ascent Act II, presented by the MSU Museum.

This program features a 30-minute live concert inspired by Blurred Realities, curated and conducted by College of Music doctoral student Michael Antonio Gabriel and performed by MSU student musicians. The program includes Brad Lubman’s …to quiet the mind, Jennifer Bellor’s Light, Awaken, Gossamer by Cassie Wieland, in drops of dew will I sink down and mingle with the dust by Nick Bentz, and Things Invisible by MSU graduate composer Carlos Lalonde, exploring themes of perception, motion, and transformation through contemporary chamber music.
