Americana: Gay Nineties, Vaudeville, and Musical Theatre

Tickets go on sale to the public beginning August 19

MSU vocalists Anne Nispel (soprano) and Harlan Jennings (baritone), with pianist Elden Little, present a lively recital celebrating eras of popular song. Spanning the charm of the Gay Nineties, the energy of vaudeville, and musical theatre, the program also includes songs from France’s La belle époque, highlighting a range of styles that shaped transatlantic musical life at the turn of the 20th century.
