Saxophone Transitions

Featuring the music of guest composer Mischa Zupko, this recital brings together works for saxophone and piano performed by MSU saxophonist Joseph Lulloff, joined by pianist Yu‑Lien The. The program includes Zupko’s In Transit and From the Skyline, with the composer also joining as pianist, and highlights additional works that showcase the range and expressive possibilities of the duo repertoire. Zupko is a recipient of numerous honors, including first place in the Pacific Symphony Orchestra’s American Composers Competition.
