The Jazz Nonets Guest Artist Series

Leonard Clyde King, Jr. is a Detroit-born drummer and bandleader whose career reflects the rich musical legacy of Michigan. With deep roots in the city’s jazz and soul traditions, he has performed with artists including James Carter, Bettye LaVette, and The O’Jays, bringing a lifetime of experience to his work as a performer and collaborator.
