This concert, headlined by Gabriel Fauré’s renowned Piano Quartet No. 1 in C Minor, also features Sonata for Flute and Piano by Francis Poulenc—a lively blend of charm and subtle complexity—and Pièces Romantiques by Cécile Chaminade, whose graceful melodies bring warmth and intimacy. Together, these works offer a rich selection of French chamber music that beautifully showcases the depth and brilliance of each composer.
