“May the Fourth Be With You” as you embark on a classical music journey through space with epic works from films like Star Wars, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and more. From intricate melodic resonance to powerful roars, this unique concert explores the endless possibilities of four grand pianos together on stage. Guided by multiple pianists, the performance showcases various multi-artist combinations, including piano four-hands. Join us at the Fairchild Theatre for this family-friendly event that promises an unforgettable musical experience. Let the majestic sound of grand pianos transport you to the stars and beyond. 

The program includes Also sprach Zarathustra, Op. 30 by Richard Strauss, and The Blue Danube Waltz by Johann Strauss II—both famously featured in 2001: A Space Odyssey—along with a Star Wars Medley by John Williams. Additional works include Jupiter from The Planets by Gustav Holst, The Garden of Eden by William Bolcom, and The Stars and Stripes Forever by John Philip Sousa.
