In collaboration with the Michael and Elaine Serling Institute for Jewish Studies, this program celebrates Jewish-American composers of the 20th century. Featuring music by Gershwin, Copland, Bernstein, Irving Berlin, Morton Gould, Steve Reich, and Philip Glass, the recital highlights the lasting impact of these composers on American musical life. Performers include Guy Yehuda (clarinet), Yvonne Lam (violin), Tasha Warren (clarinet), Jane Bunnell (mezzo-soprano), Patrick Johnson (piano), and special guests.
