Guest ensemble Capitol Quartet presents a wide-ranging program for saxophone quartet, blending contemporary works, jazz-inspired originals, classical transcriptions, and selections from the French tradition. Highlights include Nocturne by MSU composer Zhou Tian and music by Stacy Garrop, Andrew Rathbun, Baljinder Sekhon, and Kevin Day. The ensemble features MSU Professor of Saxophone Joseph Lulloff, with Christopher Creviston (soprano), David Stambler (tenor), and Henning Schroeder (baritone).
