Concert Orchestra, “Night at the Movies”

The silver screen highlights this concert with a cinematic evening of iconic film music. The program features Bernard Herrmann’s Prelude from Psycho, music from Star Wars: The Force Awakens by John Williams, How to Train Your Dragon by John Powell (arr. Sean O’Loughlin), Pirates of the Caribbean by Klaus Badelt (arr. Ted Ricketts), a James Bond Medley by Monty Norman (arr. Victor López), Joe Hisaishi’s Kiki’s Delivery Service, and Ennio Morricone’s Cinema Paradiso (arr. Robert Longfield). Conducted by Katherine Kilburn, joined by conductors Zongheng Zhang and Dan Jaggers.
