Ensemble Dal Niente, a Chicago-based contemporary music collective, celebrates the opening of its 21st season with a program that brings its dynamic, wide-ranging approach to new music. Known for innovative programming that spans intimate chamber works to large-scale multimedia performances, the ensemble presents a diverse program including works by Luis Fernando Rizo Salom, Carlos Bandera, Wang Lu, Leilehua Lanzilotti, Bernard Rands, and MSU composer Ricardo Lorenz, featuring music that ranges from contemplative microtonal textures to evocative rhythmic energy and subtle shifts of color. These works are ideally suited to the ensemble’s precision and artistry, showcasing its ability to bring some of today’s most challenging and compelling music vividly to life. 

This ensemble is a guest of the MSUFCU Entrepreneurial Musical Artist in Residence program.
