Li-Kuo Chang is a viola professor at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. He previously served as acting principal viola of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (CSO) under Riccardo Muti in 2017 and became assistant principal viola in 1988 under Georg Solti. As a soloist, he has performed with the CSO, including Bach’s Sixth Brandenburg Concerto with Pinchas Zukerman. Chang has also collaborated in chamber music with renowned artists like Zukerman, Daniel Barenboim, Yo-Yo Ma, Christoph Eschenbach, and others.
