Celebrating 10 Years of Beautiful Sights and Sounds

The MSU College of Music and Beal Botanical Garden invite you to this year’s Music and the Garden series with a celebration of nature, music, and imagination. This family-friendly event explores the theme “Nourishing Our World”—an invitation to see plant collections in new ways and learn how MSU’s gardens are being reimagined for the future. The program features the Moderno Trio performing Poulenc’s L’Invitation au château along with selections by Khachaturian, Milhaud, and other engaging works that reflect the event’s spirit of creativity and renewal.

Together, they explore a wide-ranging repertoire—from Baroque works and modern compositions to arrangements of popular songs—blending classical artistry with fresh, accessible programming that connects with audiences of all kinds. In addition to their performances, members are actively involved in the campus community as educators, collaborators, and performers.
