Symphony Orchestra, “A Dance of Sound and Elegance”
The MSU Symphony Orchestra presents an evening of elegance and flair, from lyrical classics to bold contemporary voices. The program includes Quinn Mason’s Serenade for Strings, a lush work by one of America’s rising composers, and Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in A Major, K. 622, featuring MSU clarinetist Mingzhe Wang. The concert concludes with de Falla’s vibrant Suite No. 1 from The Three-Cornered Hat. Also featured is a Sam and Mary Austin Fanfare by an MSU student composer. Katherine Kilburn, conductor.
