Symphony Orchestra, “Lift up Thine Ears”

The MSU Symphony Orchestra presents a powerful program spanning centuries and styles. Highlights include Dvořák’s expressive Cello Concerto in B Minor, Op. 104, featuring acclaimed MSU cellist Suren Bagratuni, and Lift up Thine Ears by guest composer Michael Daugherty, known for his rhythmically charged works inspired by American culture. The concert also features a new Sam and Mary Austin Fanfare by an MSU College of Music student composer. Octavio Más-Arocas, conductor.
