Wind Symphony and Spartan Youth Wind Symphony

The program includes the MSU Wind Symphony performing Toccata, Adagio, and Fugue, in C Major (transcr. John P. Paynter) by J.S. Bach, Nothing Gold Can Stay by Steven Bryant, Finale from Symphony No. 5 (transcr. Charles B. Righter) by Shostakovich, and Galop (transcr. Donald Hunsberger) by Dmitri Shostakovich.

The Spartan Youth Wind Symphony will perform Aloft by Steven Bryant, Fantasia on Greensleeves (arr. Merlin Patterson) by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Diamond Tide by Viet Cuong, Symphonic Dance No. 1 by Carol Brittin Chambers, and Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company by John Philip Sousa.
