A wide variety of performance opportunities await our students each year, with orchestras, bands, choirs and opera, jazz nonets and combos, small ensembles, and more.
A variety of programs and initiatives operate continuously or annually to enhance learning experiences and help students prepare for their future in music.
The MSU College of Music supports and challenges students, values innovation and creativity, and helps every community member achieve professional excellence.
We regret to inform you that there continue to be incidents involving the theft of personal belongings from practice rooms and spaces when items were left unattended. We strongly encourage all students to keep personal items with them at all times and to avoid leaving belongings unsecured or in plain view.
Additionally, we urge everyone to remain vigilant. If you observe any suspicious behavior or situations, please report them immediately. While we strive to maintain a safe and secure environment, no individual or location is entirely immune to theft. It is a shared responsibility to safeguard our possessions and to support one another in fostering a secure community.
