Stop by main office for information. | Event Staff consists of Student Special Events Assistant I positions (ushers, box office, and stage assistans) and Student Special Events Assistant II positions (with similar responsibilites to that of a stage management postion). Student Special Events Assistant II positions have increased responsibilities for leading and developing event staff; introductory supervisor position to help build resumes and gain more experience in a management/leadership position. Student Special Events Assistant II employees complete assignments for stage changes prior to the performance and execute them accurately and efficiently, fulfill performer requests and maintain a good rapport with the performers, keep the backstage areas clean, delegate responsibilities to the Student Special Events Assistant I positions, and facilitate communication between the Front of House and Backstage areas. Graduate Assistantship | Determined by applied faculty. | The College of Music employs approximately 100 Teaching Assistants each semester. These TAs teach or assist with a variety of academic music courses, applied lessons, and ensembles and require one or more previous degrees in music. If you are a current or incoming graduate student in the College of Music, you need do nothing more to apply for a TA. You will automatically be placed in the employment pool.
