All material must be memorized and performed in a kay appropriate for student’s vocal range.

Performance

• “Alright, OK, You Win”
• “Blue Room”

Technical Studies

• At least one chorus of scat improvisation and one chorus of text-based improvisation
• Sing the first eight measure of a ballad, a cappella
• A cappella, wordless chorus of Charlie Parker’s “Confirmation” at 190bpm or faster
