Michigan Performing Arts College Fair
The Michigan State University College of Music in partnership with the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance, Wayne State University College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts, will host the Michigan Performing Arts College Fair on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Wayne State University’s Hilberry Gateway building.
This unique college fair is for students who are interested in pursuing a degree in the performing arts. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet admissions representatives from the nation’s top colleges, universities, and conservatories and to learn about their programs in all areas of the performing arts. Students, parents, and teachers are all welcome to attend.

Event Schedule for Saturday, October 11, 2025
- 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM Admissions Panel
Admissions representatives from select schools will offer insights on the admissions process and answer questions. - 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM College Fair
The event will begin at 11:00 AM with an Admissions Panel, during which admissions representatives from institutions across the nation will share insight and perspective on the performing arts admissions process. Following the panel, the event will transition into a College Fair from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, during which attendees will have the opportunity to speak with admissions representatives from the nation’s top colleges, universities, and conservatories to learn about their programs in all areas of the performing arts (see exhibitor list below).
