At the MSU College of Music, students have a wealth of performance opportunities designed to enhance their artistry and professional development. The college offers a variety of ensembles, large and small, that include concert bands and symphonic orchestras, chamber groups, choirs, jazz ensembles, new music ensembles, and the MSU Opera Theatre. These groups provide students with the chance to perform an extensive range of musical styles, from classical to contemporary, and engage in innovative projects and programs. Regular concerts, recitals, and collaborative productions ensure that students gain valuable stage experience, preparing them for vibrant careers in music. Additionally, masterclasses and workshops with renowned guest artists further enrich the educational experience, fostering a dynamic and supportive environment for musical growth.
