The Classical Gigline will be closed December 20th through January 4th

Thank you for thinking of Spartan Talent for your upcoming event!

With the upcoming holidays and university holiday break, the Classical Gigline will be closed (not accepting new requests) December 20th through January 4th.

If your gig request is during this period, we will unfortunately not be able to process or connect you through our services. If your gig request is for a date after the break, your request will be processed as soon as possible upon our return.

The MSU College of Music is pleased to offer Gigline, a service for individuals and organizations seeking performers for weddings, receptions, parties, and other special events, both on- and off-campus. Gigline Artists are College of Music musicians recommended and vetted by their primary faculty member. Classical and jazz ensembles and soloists are available.

Booking a Classical Artist

Please fill out this form to begin your request
Once your request is processed, you will receive an email and begin communication with the College and the performer(s) of your choice to discuss fees, repertoire, and other details.

Booking a Jazz Artist

Once your request is received and processed, you will receive an email and begin communication with the College and the performer(s) of your choice to discuss fees, repertoire, and other details.

Please Note:

It is recommended that Gigline Artists are requested at least three weeks before the performance date. Gigline Artists are current students at the College of Music and may not be able to accommodate last minute requests.
Please allow 3-5 days for an initial response to your request.
Please note that Gigline is a referral service provided solely for the convenience of people in the College of Music community. The College of Music is not responsible for any agreements made by, or performances provided by, the artists listed. It is assumed that anyone using the this service has read, understands, and accepts all terms of this disclaimer as legally binding.
