Students and faculty at MSU are actively involved in creative endeavors across a wide spectrum of mediums and contexts. This includes composing acoustic and electronic music, exploring improvisation, participating in real-time interactive performances, contributing to video and film soundtracks, designing innovative installations, and creating new musical instruments.
