The MSU conducting program boasts consistent placement of graduates in prominent collegiate and professional conducting positions around the country and across the globe. Graduates have gone on to careers in major orchestras, bands, and choral groups and careers as educators and administrators in universities, conservatories, high schools, and community musical groups. Recently, students have been placed at the West Coast Symphony (Florida), The Lawrence Conservatory of Music (Wisconsin), Turtle Creek Chorale (Texas), Hendrix College (Arkansas), Daigoo Symphony (South Korea), The National Orchestra of Bolivia, The University of Toledo, and Vermont Symphony Chorus, as well as Goshen College (Indiana), Middlebury College (Vermont), Grand Valley State University (Michigan), Illinois State University, Concordia College (New York), Mount Marty College (South Dakota), and Stephen F. Austin University (Texas).
