A wide variety of performance opportunities await our students each year, with orchestras, bands, choirs and opera, jazz nonets and combos, small ensembles, and more.
A variety of programs and initiatives operate continuously or annually to enhance learning experiences and help students prepare for their future in music.
The MSU College of Music supports and challenges students, values innovation and creativity, and helps every community member achieve professional excellence.
MSU Choirs welcome you to the Michigan Chapter of the American Choral Directors Association’s Friday evening concert at the annual conference. We’re excited to share our music and stories with you!
The performances on October 18 feature two ensembles: the Singing Spartans (formerly Men’s Glee Club) tenor/bass choir and the University Chorale, MSU’s premier auditioned SATB ensemble. Our students come from middle and high school programs across the state and beyond, and we extend a heartfelt thanks to all the teachers at this conference for their unwavering dedication to providing exceptional music education. We hope you enjoy the concert!
