A very high percentage of our string graduates win positions with orchestras throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Recent placements include Jena Philharmonic and German Radio orchestras in Germany; BBC Scotland Symphony Orchestra; Canberra Symphony, Adelaide Symphony, and Willoughby Symphony orchestras in Australia; Arkansas, Grand Rapids, Fairfax, Memphis, Duluth, and Thunder Bay symphonies; and the National Orchestra of Brazil.
Graduates earning Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees have been placed in tenure-track teaching positions at colleges and universities across the globe. Some recent placements include Hanyan and Daejin universities (Korea), National Taiwan Normal University and Soochow University in Taipei (Taiwan), Sierra Music Academy (California), D’Angelo Department of Music at Mercyhurst College (Pennsylvania), Weber State University (Utah), Central Michigan University, and Tennessee Tech University.
