MSU woodwind graduates have a high placement rate in universities and symphonies throughout the country and at well-known institutions.
Placements include the University of Wisconsin, University of Iowa, University of North Dakota, University of New Mexico, and University of Montana, Eastman College of Music, Missouri State University, Louisiana State University, and North Carolina School of the Arts. Graduates are performing with prestigious ensembles, including the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra; the Honolulu, Dallas, Columbus, Akron, and Charlottesville symphonies; the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra; the Prism Saxophone Quartet; and the U.S. Marine and U.S. Air Force bands.
